Reva is another name for the Narmada River which flows in Gujarat, India. She is the sacred river itself as well as being a Goddess and a mother. My ancestors and family lived on the banks of this holy river: the water and the land were a source of sustenance, livelihood, and spirituality. The word Reva is meaningful for me and represents the deepest roots of who I am.
My exploration of Chinese Medicine, Daoist philosophy, herbs and acupuncture feels as vast, as deep and as beautiful as my dear Narmada mother. The Yin Yang symbol (Tai Ji symbol) represents the dynamic dance of Earth And all its beings. Exploring these dynamics in people is exciting to me. There is no judgement, only curiosity. Listening, partnering and increasing self awareness are words that describe how I can be of support. Moving from dis-ease to ease, making pertinent and sustainable lifestyle choices, and living in harmony with ourselves and the external world are the backdrop of my treatment space.
I began my study of the internal and external world at Case Western Reserve University with a double degree in Psychology and Natural Science. And while my roots are in India; my heart is in Ohio! I am proud to have been raised there among family and friends. My interest in alternative health began with a desire to make life healthier and easier for my loved ones. I received my Master’s in Acupuncture and certificate in Chinese Herbal Medicine from the Maryland University of Integrative Health. I chose to study Chinese Medicine for its ability to address physical, mental, emotional and spirit level blocks. I am grateful to have studied with beautiful and generous teachers. I thank them for their teaching and carry their light with me on this path.

Acupuncture
Balancing Energy Flow
Acupuncture is a key practice within Chinese Medicine that involves inserting very fine needles into specific points on the body to stimulate healing. It works by supporting the flow of energy, or Qi, through pathways called meridians, helping to restore balance in the body. Acupuncture can influence the nervous system, improve circulation, and regulate physiological functions to support physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

Essential Oils
Enhancing Circulation
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), essential oils are used to balance vital energy (Qi) and support the body's natural healing processes, with applications ranging from supporting Wei Qi (defensive Qi) to influencing Ying Qi (nutrient Qi) and Yuan Qi (original Qi). Essential oils are chosen based on their aromatic properties and their ability to resonate with the body's energy pathways and organ systems, as defined in TCM.
Herbal Medicine
Natural Remedies
Chinese herbal medicine is a core part of Chinese Medicine that uses plant-based formulas to support the body’s natural healing processes. Herbs are combined in personalized blends to address the root cause of imbalance, not just symptoms. They work by restoring harmony in the body, strengthening internal organs, and supporting physical, emotional, and spiritual health

Moxibustion
Therapeutic Heat
Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese Medicine technique that involves burning dried mugwort (called moxa) near specific acupuncture points to warm and stimulate the flow of Qi and blood. It helps strengthen the immune system, dispel cold and dampness, and support overall vitality. Moxibustion is often used to enhance healing, reduce pain, and promote balance in the body, mind, and spirit.

Gua Sha
Release and Flow
Gua Sha is a traditional healing technique in Chinese Medicine that involves gently scraping the skin with a smooth-edged tool to improve circulation and release tension. It helps move stagnant Qi and blood, reducing pain, inflammation, and muscle tightness. Gua Sha also supports the body's natural detoxification and promotes a sense of relaxation and renewal.
Cupping
Draw out and Detoxify
Cupping is a therapy used in Chinese Medicine that involves placing suction cups on the skin to stimulate circulation and release tension. The suction draws blood and Qi to the surface, helping to clear stagnation, reduce pain, and support the body’s natural healing process. Cupping can also calm the nervous system and promote deep relaxation.
